MARC is a membership organization and relies on its members to advance our mission through sharing our message, volunteering, and joining to meet the needs for ongoing financial support. The basic, individual and/or family membership fee is $15 per year. Reasons for MARC membership include: Your investment in the lives of the people MARC serves Automatic membership in The Arc of Texas and The Arc of U.S. Entitles you to be placed on all MARC mailing lists Makes you a partner in providing Arc services Gives you a voice in deciding the future direction of MARC Ensures you will receive state and national mailings and newsletters Funds research on mental retardation, its causes and prevention Enables you to be informed about legislative issues at state and national levels Makes you eligible for The Arc's insurance programs (major medical, life, hospital and Medicare supplement), The Arc's credit card program, and The Arc's long distance telephone service savings program.
